Leaves: Simple, opposite, short petiole, oblong to elliptical blade 4–15 × 3–5 cm, pubescent beneath, apex obtuse or acute, base truncate, entire margin
Flowers: Axillary, solitary or in groups of 2–4, white to yellow, 2–3 cm in diameter
Fruits: Yellow at maturity, 2–6 cm, pink pulp, numerous yellow seeds about 3 mm
